Don't Be Defined By Your Competition

In any market, you're going to have competitors. The key to creating great products is to keep an eye on your competition, but don't become defined by them.

It's important to follow what your competitors are doing, but don't be guided by their goals and their strategies.

At Sagenine, we're building better field service software because we're convinced that our ideas and approach to building software will help serve these companies better.

So, while we know all the features of our competitors, we're not focusing on creating the same thing. That doesn't make sense. And, it's not a recipe for greatness.

What we're focusing on is creating better software that utilizes a different method of doing business. Specifically: using the map to run a service business. And, tying everything together based on work done in the field.

That is what we're competing against: Our own ideas and creativity.

The question every day is: How can we do better than we did yesterday?

If you try to do better than you did yesterday, great work and great success will follow.
